Singer/songwriter/guitarist Ravi shot to worldwide fame as a member of the 90's band Hanson, performing in front of millions of screaming teenage fans in scenes reminiscent of "Beatlemania." Their triple Grammy nominated chart-topping song "Mmmbop" catapulted the band into the music stratosphere, taking Ravi to stages at the White House, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Saturday Night Live, Today Show, Good Morning America, Madison Square Garden, and others. His book Dancin' with Hanson, written on tour as guitarist of that year's top-selling band in the world, was published by Simon & Schuster. Ravi continues today to tour regularly under his own name, performing at prestigious venues including House of Blues and the Louisiana Superdome.

At the turn of the millennium, Ravi also began giving motivational presentations and penning articles with the theme of Integrity, positioning him as one of the industry's most outspoken advocates for Artistic Integrity and Truth in Marketing. Electronic Musician, Music Inc., Music and Sound Retailer, and other magazines publish his articles, and Berklee College of Music, NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants), NARAS/Grammy, and other globally renowned institutions host his lectures and keynote addresses. He is an endorsing artist and/or clinician for more than a dozen product manufacturers, the author and talent of multiple guitar instructional DVDs sold through major retailers, and an advisor to various non-profit organizations providing music education to the underprivileged.

In 2008, Ravi added "pilot" and "aviation motivational speaker" to his résumé. Bringing a little rock 'n' roll into aviation in order to make "one of humanity's greatest achievements" more accessible to a new generation, he became a founding member of the Flying Musicians Association. Born in Washington DC and raised in a "Wall Street" family near New York City, Ravi is a member of the Nehru-Gandhi family—India's political family dynasty who governed the world's largest democracy for over 40 years and continues to exert strong influence today. Combining his artistic talents, communication skills, business acumen, and family heritage, Ravi actively works with non-profit organizations to eradicate poverty by reshaping the model of education for underprivileged youth around the world.
