20, 2004 Ravi Joins Greg Bennett and SMC for National Electric Guitar Clinics SMC, (Samick Music Corp.) announces the collaboration with nationally recognized writer, speaker and guitarist, Ravi, to be the national clinician for Greg Bennett electric guitars. The joining of Ravi with SMC and Greg Bennett will be officially introduced to the industry at the NAMM Convention press conference, Anaheim, CA, in January. At the convention, Ravi will meet with dealers, conduct product demos, and showcase clinics on stage in the company's massive booth, which will pave the way for ongoing clinics throughout the country in 2005. Greg Bennett, who designed the extensive line of guitars, said, "Ravi's obvious talent as a musician and skills as a communicator make him perfectly suited to achieving SMC's marketing goals. More importantly to me, however, is Ravi's deep empathy with traditional music dealers and the challenges they face. During the clinics Greg Bennett holds, he discusses the performance benefits of different construction styles, wood types, body shapes, pickups and other components that comprise an acoustic guitar interspersed with finger style playing throughout the instructional sessions. Those who attend the clinics leave well informed of how guitars are designed and manufactured. Some highlights of the tour included the Q&A sessions. Similar to Greg Bennett's clinics, Ravi's clinics are multidimensional, designed to uncover the many attributes of each guitar through practical application in making music. The clinics showcase the potential of layering guitar tones by incorporating home recording tools and techniques. This format also explores a broader scope of products and opportunities available in creating music, well beyond the traditional guitar clinic. (Samick Music Corp.) hosted a press conference, during NAMM, at the
Coast Anaheim Hotel January 19, 2005 with the announcement of the collaboration
with nationally recognized writer, speaker and guitarist, Ravi, to be
the national clinician for Greg Bennett electric guitars. Dealers and
Sales Reps from all over the world came together to see a live press
conference with SMC endorsee Greg Bennett and to meet the newest edition
to SMC, Ravi. Throughout the press conference, Bennett and Ravi touched
on many dynamics about their careers, lives and the guitar clinics they
teach all around the world. 
Ravi
said, "The press conference was a wonderful opportunity to launch
my collaboration with Greg Bennett and SMC. I am very pleased with the
