Again (reaching the next generation). He brings inspiration,
humor, industry/business savvy, youthful spirit, and musical
entertainment to aviation events around the world, empowering
the industry to capitalize on humanity's natural attraction
to the magic of flight.
Given
that half of the pilot population plays a musical instrument,
Ravi's insight into aviator psyche is unique. This combined
with an outsider perspectivethat of the customerempowers
him to uncover creative solutions to major industry challenges.
He has been a featured and/or keynote speaker at EAA AirVenture/Oshkosh,
Sun 'n Fun, AOPA Summit, ATAC (Canada), Abu Dhabi Air Expo (UAE),
Cannes Air Show (France), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University,
University of North Dakota, Western Michigan University, Utah
Valley University, and others; and has frequently been presented
by corporations including Cessna Aircraft Corporation and Sennheiser
Aviation. Additionally, Ravi has written multiple articles for

on the solutions."

youthful outlook and keen sense of marketing of aviation was
an eye-opener for those in attendance, offering valuable nuggets
of marketing strategy and inspiration."
- Air Transport Association of Canada (ATAC)
In
addition to his passion for aviation, Ravi is an accomplished
musician who shot to worldwide fame as the guitarist for the
90's band Hanson, playing guitar in front of millions
of screaming teenage fans in scenes reminiscent of "Beatlemania."
Their triple Grammy nominated chart-topping song "MmmBop"
catapulted the band into the music stratosphere, taking Ravi
to stages at the White House, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Saturday
Night Live, Rosie O'Donnell, and Madison Square Garden, as well
as the Louisiana Superdome as a solo artist. His book Dancin'
with Hanson, written on tour as guitarist of that year's
top-selling band in the world, was published by Simon and Schuster.
Ravi is also a valued consultant and speaker on musical instrument
retail, also using the customer perspective to improve sales
and branding.
Despite
being a relatively new pilot, Ravi's log book boasts a variety
of aircraft. In addition to his trainer, an IndUS Aviation Thorpedo
T211 (LSA), he has logged time in a Cessna 172S, Cessna 172NAVIII,
Cessna Skymaster (inline twin), Cessna 142 (tailwheel), Cessna
182 (Diesel), Cirrus SR20 Avidyne, Piper Cub PA12 (tailwheel),
Piper Cub PA8 (Float Plane), Boeing Stearman Model 75 (tailwheel),
Flight Design CTLS (LSA), CRJ-200 Jet (Simulator), and a Robinson
R44 (helicopter).
Born
in Washington DC and raised in a "Wall Street" family
near New York City, Ravi is a member of the Nehru-Gandhi familyIndia's
political family dynasty who governed the world's largest democracy
for over 40 years and continues to exert strong influence today.
Combining his artistic talents, communication skills, business
acumen, and family heritage, Ravi actively works with non-profit
organizations to eradicate poverty by reshaping the model of
education for underprivileged youth around the world.
